 | | Today's Ways to Use It challenge is "It's not Easy being Green" - to use lots of green on a card.
I needed to make a Bon Voyage card for a friend who is going to France for two months. I'm green with envy so doing the card in green is so appropriate!! It's also appropriate because I'm "being green" by recycling - what looks like dp on my card is actually the back of a leaflet on travel books - I saved it for a Bon Voyage card as it has travel images (passport stamps) on it.
I used the Wrinkle Free Distress technique from SCS (http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/re...efreedistress/) for my focal image panel with three subtle green inks, then selected a bunch of different stamps that would be appropriate and did my best to create a collage of them (collage is always really hard for me!) in black ink. |
