Wendy gave us the challenge to use vellum. I made one card coloring the vellum. Here is another way to use vellum.....
This card is also for the QFTD challenge. Trish made another wonderful choice for Queen. It is Mary. What a fun gallery she has. I chose this to be inspired by....details...
Marthat Stewart sent out an e-mail showing a technique to make blueberries with a cork. I have many corks left over from the wine I occassionally drink, hehe, so I gave it a try. Afterward I put glossy accents on the berry parts.
Took a piece of vellum, sponged color on the backside, ran it through the cb then traced around the embossed parts with a white pen.
Put this on a piece of w/c paper that I put color on and black dots.
Layered this all on a green card adding the checkered ribbon.

Beautiful colors and berries!! I love the outlining of the embossing on the vellum, really love your blueberries!! I should look into this MS project, though I'm not a wine drinker, so no corks!

Your card is beautiful Cathy!! I love the colors you used. What a creative technique using wine corks. It's not too much trouble for me to find corks either.
