Scrabble tiles are so cute on projects. I truly wish one of the die companies would come out with the entire scrabble tile alphabet. Until then this is how I do mine so that they are dimensional but light enough for cards. I start with this freebie file from fuzzimo: scrabble tiles. You can print it with the wood grain, or in just white (method on this card). I cut out the tiles and then inked them up with distress inks. I used layers of Antique Linen and Scattered Straw. To make the letters look indented I went over them with a fine multiliner pen. To set the ink I sprayed a matte finish on them. Next I mounted the letters on corkboard with 3-in-1 glue and cut the board with a sharp craft knife (cuts like butter!!). Finally I put a coat of Mod Podge over the entire tile. Sounds like a lot of work but itÂ’s pretty simple (die cuts would be BETTER!!) Thanks for Looking!!
