 | | I'm still working on mastering Heather T's masking fluid technique for creating snow scenes. I'm happier with this one than with my first attempt as I made the sky much darker. I used three different inks to get the sky the colour I wanted.
The horizon was created because I had too much masking fluid on my tooth brush and got some very large splatters - I spread those splatters out and they ended up looking like either large snowdrifts or small hills.
I stamped the trees with pigment inks and then randomly sprinkled a bit of white ep on them, and filled in around that with clear ep to try and create some snow on the trees.
I cut the image in three for the CAS challenge to make a three panel card. It's also for the Christmas Card Challenge. |
