Hi everyone! This is a sample I made while doing a tutorial for the Wax Paper Resist Technique over at Our Daily Bread designs. Okay, I made this card over the weekend, so I'm cheating with the color challenge, but the colors are so close, so I couldn't help myself!!
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: Our Daily Bread designs 'Happy Retirement';
Cardstock: Stampin Up Island Indigo, Whisper White, and Glossy White;
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Stampin Up Inks and markers;
Accessories: Wax Paper, Paper Towel, Clothes or Craft Iron, May Arts Twill Ribbon, Dew Drops, Spellbinders Square Nestabilities, Craft Knife, sponge daubers, paper piercer and template;
Size: 5-1/2 x 5-1/2.
Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!

It's so nice to see old school techniques come back now and then. This card is fabulous! I love the way you cut the trees, making a nice image into something great.

This wax paper resist is really a fun one. Have not done it in ages, but I do really like yours. Yes, the colors are perfect today and it fits perfectly in this gallery. I like that image and the shadows of the tress and hammock. Very Nice.
