Today's Ways to Use It challenge is "For the Birds". I love bird stamps, especially Christmas ones. So I did two variations with the same stamp. Here's the first. A very straightforward card using the chickadee from A Beautiful Season, one of my favourite dps, and oval Nesties.
I made a big paint smudge on the lower part of the image so had to trim it down - I used the Nesties inverted scallop squares to trim and border it as they look kind of like holly. And I had to place them diagonally to get rid of my smudge so they've come out looking more like diamonds than squares.
I decided I prefer the effect I got with the Inktense on this card over the regular watercolour paints.

Susan, what a lovely wionter card. Your coloring of the chickadee is PERFECT AND REALISTIC. I really like when a definite bird image is colored like it is IRL.....and you did it to perfection! The whole card is stunning.

Susan, great coloring of this beautiful image. I like both versions of your card so it depends on the look you're going for ... the watercolor is definitely more subtle ... and this one, well the name of the markers says it all - much more intense colors. Both versions are beautiful.

I love this! I love the beautiful bird image, but also how you die cut the edges and tipped the square to form a diamond. In paper crafting, there are no mistakes, just opportunities to improvise! I think I prefer the colouring on this image...it's a little stronger in colour.
