There are so many gorgeous examples of this stamp with sponged backgrounds, I just had to try it! I used every yellow I have from Daffodil Delight all the way to Cajun Craze (ok, that's in the oranges) and it's so much fun watching the layers of color take shape and add depth. I know I have to do more and more of these!
Tips: I used the Whisper White to make the image, but liked Very Vanilla better inside the card.
Use a sticky note mask for the sun AFTER you sponge on a very light layer of Daffodil Delight. Then go over the card with more D.D.
Use torn scrap paper to mask the landscape at the bottom.
When doing the stamping, stamp each image 2-3 times before re-inking to get different shades, which give you so much depth and interest.

How beautiful is this sunset! I have been doing some sunset for sympathy cards, but I have used the brayer method. I find yours is stunning and maybe not as tricky as brayering. TFS!!
