Charlene's challenge to the CCEE Stampers this week was to make our own designer brads or buttons. I really enjoy making paper buttons but I also love the SU build-a-brads, so I went with those. The other girls had great ideas for the make-your-own buttons, well worth checking out.
White A2 base sponged with Victorian Velvet. The next layer is Echo Park For the Record paper stitched, and with the edges distressed. The flowers were cut from old music, then sponged with Tattered Rose and Victorian Velvet. Stem is Sizzix Vine cut from Bazzill and embossed with Textile ef. SU Build-a-Brads with music sponged with Scattered Straw. HA sentiment on a scrap of wrinkle-free distress. Autumn Leaves butterfly ditto, with Stickles.

My goodness, my friend, where do I begin to make note of all your lovely details on this BEAUTIFUL card? I absolutely love how you stamped the music on the flowers and used it for your brads. The colors are so rich and warm. Your stitching is fabulous. I just love it all!!
