I sometimes wonder if creating a sympathy card without a specific need is sending a signal to the universe; an unspoken anticipation of dread. I certainly hope not, but there are so many times in the past when I have been in need a sympathy card only to find that I had none. So throwing caution to the wind I created a simple sympathy card.
On a white card base, I layered a piece of patterned paper from the Paper Hearts collection. I die cut another piece of patterned paper this time from the Harvest Market collection using my Nesting Frames and on that layered a wee bit of black before stamping the floral image onto gray cardstock. The floral image is an old one from Rubbernecker stamps, which is no longer available (at least I couldnÂ’t find it on their website). I embellished the top and bottom of my panel with images from a Technique Tuesday set by Ali Edwards and topped the flower with a bit of Liquid pearls.
