It's time for another Color Throwdown Challenge: Pacific Point, Pool Party, Tempting Turquoise, Certainly Celery, Elegant Eggplant. When I saw the 3 shades of blue, I knew I wanted to try this sponging/masking technique that is so predominant in the Featured Stamper gallery this week: Heather Telford (Heather T). Love her awesome gallery! I masked off the 2" wide stripe and sponged with Pacific Point, Tempting Turquoise & Pool Party. I then stamped the silhouette images in Elegant Eggplant and Certainly Celery from PTI's "Life" set. The sentiment flag stamp is by 'Lil Inker Designs. I seldom do one layer cards, but loved how this turned out and hope to do more of this technique in the future!

This is gorgeous. The blue sponged background is so pretty with the different shades. Love the layout with the one rounded corner to add interest.
