A letter to Buddy ~ a card and letter to our soon to be grandson. This card is my entry for the Flourishes Timeless Tuesday Challenge and this weeks sketch challenge on Splitcoaststampers.
I turned this sketch to landscape. And I did not mat the pink panel or the panel with the stamped image and sentiment. The sweet baby image was used as the area of embellishment on the sketch. I wanted to give the illusion of looking through the window but didn't want to obstruct the writing desk and flowers. To accommodate the Flourishes challenge criteria I placed three small butterflies (two on the window curtain that blows gently from the open window and one on the sleeping baby image.
I used a number of Copics to color this image. Oh how I love the Flourishes stamps. They seem to speak to my heart. And I've been a long time lover of Graphic 45. Their new Little Darlings collection is beautiful. And last but not least...those windows dies! I am smitten there's just no other word for it!

Wow! This is REALLY an amazing card. I LOVE what you did with the window and the illusion of looking through the window to the desk...This is also one of my favorite quotes. I love the bit of netting with the butterflies...and the little stamp is just the sweetest. This card is a HOME RUN!!!

What a sweet and delightful card! Very poignant sentiment, so perfect (love Flourishes too!). Great use of the sketch and use of textiles - love that tulle! Beautifully done.
