Distressed Dasher

The Ways to Use It challenge this week is "Don't Stress, Distress" - to do a distress card. I'm not very good at distress, and my style is more CAS so I did a very CAS version of distress. Only my focal image is distressed.

I used the Wrinkle Free Distress technique to colour a piece of watercolour paper with three different Distress ink colours. When it was dry, I stamped and heat embossed (with a shimmery embossing powder) Dasher on it. Cut it out with the SU Framelits, added a border layer in a shimmery green, and stamped and heat embossed a sentiment.

It's also for the Christmas Card Challenge for May.

I love the colours of the wrinkle free distress and the beautiful shimmer of the embossing powder! That's a beautiful shimmery mat too. All in all, a gorgeous card!
