Charlene is the May hostess over at CCEE Stampers, and she started off the month by challenging us to use gingham on our cards - DP, ribbons, buttons, fabric, whatever...
I do have several sheets of gingham paper, but I ended up going with a button and ribbon.
The card base with Basic Grey Pheobe was sitting on my desk waiting to be recycled, so I took my colours from that. The Stampavie image was stamped on watercolour paper with Versafine Black and coloured with watercolour pencils, then matted onto some blue Bazzill. The button and ribbon are both old and I can't remember where they came from. I thread some ribbon through the button and wrapped it round the sides of the card, then added the bows.
If you'd like to break out the gingham, be sure to link on the blog or use the keyword if you're sharing in the galleries here.

I wouldn't mind being this little guy in the hammock. I am up too early this morning and didn't get enough sleep. The image is adorable and I really like your designer paper. Of course, the gingham ribbon/button treatment is what it's about this week and I love it. Great card, Sabrina.
