I finally finished creating a progressive page for my upcoming workshop and need some opinions on it. I like how it turned out, but I'm not sure about the upper right hand corner area. I tried layering the cutouts on black squares and placing them on the open purple, but it didnt' look right. Should I leave it or try to rack my brain something to put there.....a strip of white...? I don't have a designated place for journaling, but not every page needs it. The title can speak for itself sometimes....SUGGESTIONS?

I like it as is. The eye appreciates a little 'unoccupied' space (the official design term escapes me at the moment, lol). Leaving it blank allows the pattern on the paper to show. However if you still want to try something, perhaps you could run a vertical line of ribbon (the same one that's on your cute little tag) down the right side of the page and under the bottom mat. But as I said - I like it as is. Love the colors! The black looks so sharp. Cute, cute, cute!

Really like this layout. I'm adding it to my favorites. I like the snow flakes the way it is. As for the journaling either you can add a tag behind the photo like a hidden pocket. I do that often. Or you can put it on the right hand corner top on the background snowflakes. I've been trying to journal on every page but of course some people don't journal on their pages. My cousin hardly ever journals and only puts the date on her pages.

OK, mom2triplets04 gave me a brilliant idea....I'm going to make strips of paper about 1" wide and attach the snowflakes on the ends (to use as tabs) and then there are 3 places for journalling! Thanks mom2triplets04 for the lightbulb!
