But not this card. It's The Gong Show card. This is not my best work. At. All. I don't do cute. I'm awful at cute. Why I'm even doing cute, I don't know. I can't color hair or skin. I'm hopeless in this department, but this stamp is so cute! Then I topped it off with a color challenge (fuchsia and orange, ack!) really tying my hands. Ugh. I used about 100 Copic markers it seems to try to salvage this, but it didn't work. I don't even have cute designer paper! The only thing I found remotely resembling cute that I have is the new Cosmo Cricket 2wenty-Thr3e and that's not even cute, it just had the challenge colors in it and it's the only paper pad that I had with those colors. My paper and embellishments can't even save this one. I didn't even plan the paper and embellishments since my chipboard arrow blends in with my scalloped designer paper. Since I spent hours trying to do cute, I'm going to have something to show for it – maybe. I don't know. You can be the judge of that. I even used glitter on this! The secret to great glitter and staying in the lines is a Quickie Glue Pen by Sakura. So, here is my cute card.
And, for the grand finale, while I was editing my pictures and doing the close-up of the image, my coloring looks like she peed her pants. Oh boy! Maybe I should change the name of this card to "Life is Wet!" Jennifer McGuire and Kristina Werner – are you listening? Next Online Card Class – how to do cute.
The challenges are the My Favorite Things Wednesday Stamp Club 68 (MFTWSC6 and The Play Date Cafe 128 (PDCC12. I don't know why I do this to myself
Have a great day and God bless!
