Today's Technique Lover's Challenge is "Stamping Nostalgia" - use only those things that were available way back when - in the pre-Cuttlebug era. So I thought I'd add on to that challenge for myself and make two cards with the same stamp - one the way I'd have done it before I had a Cuttlebug and one the way I'm more likely to do it now.
Since I need to finish my April quota for the SCS Christmas Card Challenge, and I need some more cards with horses on them, I took my "Santa Horses" stamp and did this card using my Cuttlebug to emboss a background and to cut the image out with a Nesties oval. I coloured the hats with a Copic marker. I also added Martha Stewart Tinsel Glitter which I think is a newer product.

A little bit of embossing really adds a new dimension to a card. I have to say that I do prefer this one. I guess I'm the odd man out here. I love the oval of the image and how the embossed stars really make the image stand out!
