Congrats Suen (Sue) on becoming our newest Queen. I have been to your wonderful gallery a few times but have been away from SCS for almost year. So I have a little catching up to do. I chose this beautiful card
to case.
I paper pieced the tulip border and used copic markers to shade them
I hope to start slowing catching up on all the Queen challenges I have missed. I'm sure it will take some time though. Congrats to all the Queens....
The photo seems a little dull to me.. I should start wearing my glasses more... Maybe it would help...
Editing to add CT0412 Let the sun shine in.. At my old house in Upstate NY, I had tulips planted all around the flag pole.. Let the sun shine means Spring to me after a long winter and that means my tulips would be coming up. I miss them already
Thanks for looking

What a surprise and delight to find your gorgeous card in the queen's gallery today, Irene!! So many of SCS's faithful stampers have disappeared from the galleries here! It is sensational to see one return to us!! We have certainly missed your beautiful work. This tulip creation is divine!!! Sue will be tickled pink!!!

Wonderful to see you back, Irene!!! Beautiful tulips. I love the background and the ribbon. What a cool tulip border up top - I hope you didn't make that!
Hope to see you around a lot more!

Irene, what a lovely card...filled with sweetness. Your tulips are beautifully colored and I like all the "flower word" text behind them. The teeny tulip border is darling and just finishes the card.

Irene, totally precious! I love your gorgeous colors and that sweet lil line of blooms at the top.

What a lovely card, Irene! I love your coloring of the tulips and the addition of the little punched tulips along the top edge! They're so sweet! I wish our tulips were blooming, but we still have snow in the yard! Thanks for CASEing one of my cards.
