I made a card for today's Ways to Use It challenge where the challenge was to use a re-inker. I chose the shaving cream technique. I found I needed to stamp and emboss the image BEFORE I did the shaving cream. Reversing it I couldn't get a true black image on the creamed glossy cardstock. My reinker was rose red so the card base is rose red. I used the argyle ef for the black baground piece. The grossgrain ribbon is SU.

Interesting! I've always noticed that even my strongest black does look a bit faded when stamping on shaving foam, I never thought of embossing it either before or after. Your background is fabulous with the silhouette image - and I bet it smells good too ;-).

WOW! This technique can be quite messy, but the background your created is just gorgeous! What a great idea to stamp and emboss the silhouette image first! Lovely card!
