It has been almost a year since I've uploaded a card . Nothing seems familiar. Plus I am working on a laptop and everything I'm used to is on the old desktop. I will need to work out the bugs in the system, but for now I wanted to see if my new stamping space was going to work..... NO... something needs to be changed.. It is awkward to say the least.... I usually stand to do most of my crafting but my new space has lower counters. The new room is also a lot smaller than my old craft room. Most of my stamps and extra supplies are now in a separate room. It will take some time but I am determine to make my new space work.
I still have a lot of organizing to do for the rest of the house. But at least we are moved after 2 years and 4 months.. It took 2 years to sell and 3 months to find a new home back in Florida. We have been here for about a month now... I do miss my stamping space in my old house in Upstate NY.. But I am ready to create and make my new space just as special.
So baby steps for now.....
Thanks for looking

Welcome back, to SCS and Florida! You would never know your new space isn't working for you judging by this card, it is adorable! I love the fold! I recently finished redoing my stamping room and it has taken a couple of weeks for it to feel like it is working for me. I too stand to do most of my work, I only sit at my desk when I am coloring. I bought a counter height craft table at Pier 1 a couple of years back that works well for me now. Maybe you could make something similar to a bed tray to put on top of your lower counter to bring it up to a comfortable height. And you would net out some extra storage underneath also!

Irene, welcome back. We have missed you. Have patience with yourself as you adjust to your new home and space. I always give myself 2 weeks for anything new like this. Despite your absence, your mojo is intact. Love this fabulous design, especially with the fancy fold. I never think about doing that.
We hope to see you back soon.

You haven't lost a beat, this card is as darling as any you made before. The coloring on the rocket is FAB!! and the starry sky and plumes from take-off are terrific!!

It's great to have you back, Irene! And your card is just as cute as it can be! I really envy you w/ any craft room at all, lol. My stuff is in 2 different rooms and the basement. Have to drag stuff out and put it away every day. Do you think that's why it takes me so long, lol?
