This card is for today's sketch challenge. It's going to a 12 year old boy that has cancer. When I read he is in 4-H I knew I wanted to put a chicken on the card. When my son was in 4-H he had to raise chickens every year to sell at the county fair. Now, I don't know if you have ever raised chickens or not, but it's not the easiest thing to do. Every year we would go to the fair to see all these hugh, fat chickens the other kids had raised to look in the coop to see my son's little, skinny chickens. I fed them just like the "directions" said but somehow those other kids had SUPER chickens compared to ours. My son always got a blue ribbon just because he was such a sweet kid. NOT based on those chickens of his!

How cute! My daughter would love this one, as she is in 4-H. She is doing rabbits this year. Your rooster at the bottom of the hen house is really cute. Great idea.
