This is for QFTD108 and my wonderful friend, Charlene aka LilLuvsStampin is our queen this week. What a perfect choice!!! I didn't get to play in the challenge on Friday due to working late but I just couldn't let this occasion go by. I have been inspired by Charlene for many years. I noticed in Charlene's picture album that our first meeting was back in 2007. She is one of my Rubbernecker teammates and a wonderful friend. I was especially inpsired by Charlene's Spring Tulip card found here: CCEE Spring CKM by LilLuvsStampin at Splitcoaststampers I especially love her wide double mat and the Rubbernecker tulip image. I kept Charlene's layout, used the same image and embossing folder but changed the color combination and created a full bouquet of tulips.
I stamped the tulip on light green cardstock, embossed with clear embossing powder and painted lightly with green reinker and water. I stamped the tulips on pink cardstock using Aged Mahogany ink, embossed with clear ep and watercolored with the mahogany reinker and water. I love how the flowers show soft shadows of the light pink cardstock through the darker ink. I cut the stems and tulips heads out, attached the tulips to the stems and created my floral bouquet. I die cut a few sprigs of foliage to add softness to the bouquet and finished with a multi loop bow.

Come pick my jaw up off the floor, Kittie. OMG, this is GORGEOUS!!! You are the master of floral arrangements. The double layering of the tulips is exquisite, as is your signature multi loop bow.
Thank you for your kind words, my dear friend. It's such a pleasure for me to be able to meet up with you each year, as well as be on the RN design team with you. I'm glad you found time to play because you really made my day extra special with this GORGEOUS card!
