When I saw today's challenge to use ruffles I immediately thought of this cool ribbon (Project Runway inspired) which is pleated satin with a velvet middle! I was mounting new stamps....gotta love new rubbah in the mornin' and wanted to play with the Paris theme. I thought it would work well with yesterday's sketch and off I went! Started with the main circle where I stamped the script from French Foliage in stamped off Basic Grey then stamped the tower in Basic Grey over it. The amour is stamped in Black and my Paris postmark is stamped in Grey and sponged with Pink Pirouette which is the base cs color as well. My large flower is stamped off grey on pink with an Antique Brad center. The smaller flower is Pirouette stamped on white with some thumped and rolled Grey accents. I layered my circles and everything was popped or double popped with dimensionals. I used some Neutral Patterns pack dp with ticket punched corners and accented with pearls. I ticket punched some Pirouette and stamped with stamped off Basic Grey in the corners for my inside. I think this would make a great wedding shower or anniversary card.

Your black pleated ribbon is so elegant..I can see why you chose to use it with your vintage French themed stamps. I love how you did the Eiffel Tower against a pink bg..it's sort of a mini collage itself. The antique brad on your flower is wonderful..a gorgeous card!
