 | | Mothermark has her mind on the mating season for hummingbirds - must be timely, as the birds in our back yard seem to be alternately chasing each other and beating a retreat!
This is probably the male - I did not check but usually the male is the colorful one. And I doubt I have anything to steal away another hummingbird, so no extra cookies today!
We are sending our cards to Barbara. She will be 85 in a few weeks. She just had surgery and some complications, so is in need of extra cheer. Read more here:

I have not done a lot of other SCS challenges of late, but Monday's technique is to use a punch of the same color to create a faux dry embossed piece. I used a small medallion type punch in yellow, but added a step - ran the piece through the CB with a Swiss Dots folder. Pretty subtle, but I like the look.
