The CAS challenge for today is to use scallops. I used Jennifer McGuire's (LOVE her) Go To Sketch that is on page 26 of the March/April Papercrafts magazine.
Stamped SU linen background w/Ranger vintage photo onto Hobby Lobby kraft cardstock. Stamped Tim Holtz grunge lace in vintage photo. With PTI dies, cut six flower layers from MME Caroline Howdy Doody papers. Staggered, glued, added PTI poppy button center. Layed onto card, didn't like it ... too flat and blah. Got my favorite scalloped, cotton lace out and added a piece over Tim's stamp (you can see a wee bit but it adds "visual interest" to the card--heehee!) Placed flower w/SU dimensionals. Stamped MFT PI sentiment iw/Ranger fire brick. Inked edges of card w/same.
