 | | Hope you had a great Easter. He is not here, but is risen! This card was finished today and was made for the Alphabet Challenge to use Letter N & the Divine Designs Bible Verse Challenge and finished off with today’s CAS challenge. For the CAS challenge, I added a scallop strip & a string of pearls to an almost finished card and I liked how it added the right touch. I never would have thought of doing that, so thanks for the inspiration! For Letter N, I used flowers & leaves from nature, a verse with a word starting with N stamped in Night of Navy and something “new” to me – PTI cardstock. I’ve heard a lot about it but never tried it until now. I’ve always use Stampin’ Up! cardstock and this is the first time I ordered cardstock from somewhere else. The jury is still out on if I like it or not. The flowers were Rocked & Rolled in Amethyst and Eggplant. I did a little sponging down by the flower stems and used a touch of color & glitter in the flower centers. I’ll save this card for next year and it will be a blessing to have at least one Easter card done! TFL |
