Joan gave us a challenge today that's my favorite technique. I love the depth you get from this technique. I made a card for Mother's Day. I started by cutting out a die and using the negative. I paper pierced around the flourish. I then punched out the flowers and circles. Glued them together and placed them on the card. I stamped the sentiment. I then cut strips and stacked them. Placed them diagonally on the card. tfl

That colour and the multiple layers is reminiscent of a painted wood panel. I love the look of that. Beautiful flower spray and great idea to use the negative of the die cut. I always neglect to see the value in that. Wonderful card!

What a beautiful card! I love the stacked diagonal pieces in the corner and using the negative piece with the added flowers looks wonderful!
