I didn't have time for much card-making over the weekend, but when I saw this mosaic necklace, I thought that it was time to use up all the bits of rubber I've been saving for a mosaic stamp, and I thought a blue one would be a good setting for these little Denami frogs which have been sitting on my desk.
A2 base. Green Bazzill Bling embossed with Polka Dots, silver Stickles added to the dots, edged with a black Sakura Glaze pen.
Image was stamped on Bristol Board with Versafine Black and coloured with H2Os, plus distress ink for the chocolate cupcake. I added silver Stickles and Key Lime Liquid Pearls accents. Punched with a Marvy corner punch and layered up on more of the Bazzill Bling.
For the mosaic layer I stuck all my pieces of rubber to a piece of acetate, inked with Brilliance Mediterranean Blue and embossed with clear EP. I sponged it with some blue ink, and edged with a black pen. I've been hoping to try the Faux Mosaic tutorial in Resources, but looking at this I think the gaps between my scraps of rubber might be too large.

Cute little frogs, Sabrina - this is one technique I've never come across - I think it looks great, I like the green showing through like beautiful grouting!
