 | | The Featured Stamper this week is Albongo, who has such a lovely gallery. Most of her cards are CAS, but I selected this one: http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...;ppuser=157989
(Amazing, it has only a handful of comments, but favorited 16 times!)
I like the card a lot, and the layout worked for a card I wanted to make today.
First of all, I changed a lot - the image and the DP are different. I pretty much kept the colors, but omitted a Kraft layer as well as the scallops at the bottom - my image was too large and there was no room. I used a clip instead of a button - flatter to mail!
I recently heard about a 12 year old boy who is in need of encouragement - he has lost an arm and part of his collarbone, and cancer has spread to his lungs. Tough for anyone, especially an active 12 year old. Read about it here, and if you happen to have a card to send off, it would certainly be appreciated. http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/fo...r-t551796.html
He is a Colts fan, and I found this image. I was unable to figure out how to resize it, but I decided a large (8.5 x 5.5) card would be like a mini poster.

This challenge requires punched shapes from our stash - I have had both the stars and the "ticket" shape in a box of shapes - for a couple of years or more: http://clearitoutchallenge.blogspot.com/ |
