I was starting to feel like a hoarder with all the paper and c/s scraps I was keeping. There were so many that, in many cases, I just didn't even want to go there when it was time to stamp. So I posted a question in the forums asking for suggestions. I combined suggestions from a couple of people and came up with something that I hope will help me to manage the volume and increase the number of times I am able to use the scraps.
I chose this size box (about 5.5" x 6" and available at The Container Store) because it is large enough for 1/4 sized pieces, but small enough that a) I'm limited in the number of scraps I can keep and b) the pieces don't have too much wiggle room, keeping the edges from getting banged up.
The resealable bag contains punched/embossed pieces abandoned from other projects.
Now I just have to buy some more boxes and figure out where I'm going to store them so they are visible, but not cluttery looking.

What a great idea! I seem to have so many scraps and never use them like I should. This would be a perfect way to keep them at hand and usable! Thanks for sharing! Good luck with finding a place to store them!!!

Thank you for sharing this. You've given me new perspective about how to organize my scraps and pre cut die-cuts. I do cluster things, sometimes by shape, sometimes by SU! Color families, and sometimes by SU! theme/dsp/suite.
Not sure what it will evolve to but this is helpful for my thought process.
