For the Inspiration Challenge: From these purses I choose some colors for my image panel, I liked the pink, yellow and green and my sky colors looked better from the blue you see in the bottom purse and the fact that I donÂ’t have many purple Copics yet. I also worked from the pieced together fabrics to use up some scrap cardstock.
The images were colored with Copic markers: flowers – RV00,02,04,06, Y13,15, leaves – G94,99, hummingbird – bg10,11,13, YG01,G82, background – B32,34,39, blender
The embossed layer is stripes of scrap cardstock that I needed to find a use for so I embossed each one and arranged them in a crazy quilt pattern and added a bit of Stickles to each one. Stickles was also randomly added to the image panel.
The out of the box image using Nestabilities: a pictorial can be viewed on my blog in this link if you need photos and IÂ’ll explain how I achieved the technique for those that donÂ’t wish to leave SCS for directions: Lie the Nestabilities die cut side up over the image and mark with a pencil on each side of the image that will be out of the box (youÂ’re marking on the inside of the die cut) and also make a couple small marks on the top or bottom for easy die cut line up after cutting. Cut the image slightly further than the mark to allow for the thickness of the metal. Flip the die over and slide it under the portion which was just cut and secure with repositional tape if needed (I use the blue painters tape). Run through the machine to cut then emboss and remove the die cut, erase the pencil marks and itÂ’s ready to color. I color after cutting just in case I make a mistake.
I used a heavy carpet tape layered to pop up the bordered embossed panel and also the oval panel but slightly higher.

What a stunning card, Roxie. I love the white-on-white patchwork you created with various EFs for your bg. The hummingbird and flower panel is truly gorgeous!
