I went with a bee motif today. I tried the out of the box technique again..I think it turned out ok. My embossed bg does have some honeycomb stamping on it and it might be hard to see but I did add little wire "tails" to the bees....I just wrapped yellow wire around a small metal tool and then smashed it with one of my acrylic blocks.

This is so fabulous!! You didn't seem to struggle at all with those 3 horizontal panels! Gorgeous colors with the great bee motif. A winner in my book.

Great honeycomb and bees, love their little "tails".

Polly, what a pretty card featuring your "beee" theme. I like how you used the bars for your message....those bars had me stymied. Wonderful colors too.

I like the three part sentiment on those three little panels. I had a time figuring out what to do with those. You did a wonderful job on your bee themed card; lots of fussy cutting!!

Your card is really nice - one of the most creative in the bunch today, I'd say. I do see your honeycomb, and think it looks great with the embossing. Nice job with the bee tails as well. :>)
