It's April and (no foolin'!) it's time for new Creative Crew Challenges. This project is for the Holiday Focus Challenge. "Mom and Dad, Mum and Dad, Mom or Dad. Remember those who gave us life. Make a card, a scrapbook page or a decor item that honors Mom, Dad or both. Use the 2010-2012 In Colors as your main colors."
I decided to go with an 8x8 scrapbook page to honor my Mom, who died 18 years ago of breast cancer. I started with an 8x8 Poppy Parade page and added a 7-3/4" square layer of Poppy Parade Patterns dsp. From there, I just let my Mom's wild shirt dictate the colors. It was a perfect match for Wild Wasabi, Peach Parfait and Concord Crush. This was the first time I've used staples to adhere ribbons to my page, and I love the look.

OMG Regina......I just LOVE all the LOVE you put into this colorful and creative page. Your sweet mom's wild shirt was the perfect starting point. I bet she is smiling down at you and this adorable page. TFS
I love this page. The shirt is a great source of inspiration, but I love it all. The heart, the ribbon tabs, it's so pretty yet colourful at the same time!
