Today's CAS challenge is to use the spotlight technique. I have some ribbon to put into the mail for the pay it forward thread (it is really fun to join in and give your goodies to people who will appreciate them S/O Pay It Forward by Scrapjanny at Splitcoaststampers ) and wanted to try a large, tall, card to put in the envelopes with the ribbon and twine I was sending.
I cut my card base in River Rock (8.5 x just under 4) and then used the striped ef to add texture to the bottom 2/3 of the card. I stamped my tree in Chocolate Chip on the base and again on white cs after masking the bird which I'd stamped in Riding Hood Red. I stamped my greeting then added the strip of striped ribbon. I like the size, but I think the same design would work for an A2 card.

I love the long lean shape of this card. Haven't done one like that in a while. I love the way you added the bird on spotlighted part of the tree branch.
