Fun site for today's Inspiration Challenge! Love all the colorful stuff. I chose this Ikat Cushion Cover. I love the warm, vibrant colors and it's also a little play on words. The Ikat cover is my Cat in a bag, lol.
The images are all DRS Designs and I found the instructions for this right here in the SCS Resources: Slider Card Tutorial and Beate did a great job explaining and showing how to make it.
I thought the sentiment would be perfect for a split format and I think this layout works perfectly. As you can see, when closed, the two sentiment panels are hidden. When you pull on the tab at the top, they slide out simultaneously.
Of course when I made it, I didn't think about how hard it would be to take a pic of it. The camera just didn't want to focus on that tall an image so the top is a little fuzzy. The candles were all cut out and added at the top. I started to put them at the bottom, then realized it kinda looked like they would set the bag on fire. Not good! I used an embossing folder on the bag part of the image and the finished (closed) size is just under 4.25 x 5.50.
THanks so much for looking! It's been blogged: Here
My blog:The Write Stuff. Sorry! I had to delete a bunch of really old posts from my blog & this is one of them.

How cute! Julie, I have tried repeatedly to make one of these cards work, to no avail. Do you give lessons?????????????
