This card combines two of this week's challenges - Ways to Use It ("Get Sentimental" - showcase a sentiment) and Free for All ("Caught a Bug" - a project with some sort of bug).
The card is for a friend who has been having a rough time lately. I love the Apache blessing sentiment I chose to showcase - it is so perfect to give to someone to let them know that life will get better.
I stamped and embossed it on a piece of cardstock that I had colour-washed with Twinkling H2Os and then cut it out with a Nesties label. I die-cut the butterflies out of the remaining piece of cardstock where the colour-wash was a lot lighter. Some of them fit perfectly to layer over the embossed butterflies of the background. Others are popped up on dimensionals in random spots.
