QFTD105, Congrats Korin
Added to Favorite

Photo Details
Poster: pam124

I set out trying to do the stained glass technique using copics, but it turned out too streaky for me, so I opted to do stained glass, but with glitter instead.

This is Korin's beautifl card I cased:

http://www.splitcoaststampers.com/ga...p;thumbsonly=0

I used a flower from an old SU set called Grateful Greetings as the stamps with the wider lines work best with this technique when you use glitter. I adhered it to a circle nestie and placed the SU lattice diecut behind it for a frame. I can never find used for this diecut, but I think it worked out okay here.

Used SU textured ef for the main panel, a black lace ribbon to which I attached a white flower with a glittered flower on top. The 2 glittered flowers were from the same set.

I added a little tag, SU scallop border punch and some bling. I think that wraps it up.

CONGRATS Korin on your Queenhood and your gallery is filled with exquisite treasures.

Thanks for taking a look.

Oh! Your lattice die cut is the perfect background for your oh-so-pretty-and-sparkly image. Love this stained glass technique with the glitter.

This is exquisite Pamzi!! I love the die-cut background panel so beautifully adorned with bling, and it's such a statement with the black ribbon/lace!! These flowers work perfectly with glitter - gorgeous creation twinzi!! Hugs.

Another stained glass technique card...for me? Seems I remember a Christmas incident and I didn't get mine. LOL This is gorgeous and full of sparkle. I sure need to try that technique...someday. That is a sweet sentiment tag. Love your card, Pamzi!

Pamzi you had me busting out loud laughing last night with your comment on my last "Western" card. I wish I had that "Cowboy" you so love in my stamp collection-but I don't. I think you are personally responsible for the price of that stamp to be through the roof!!! lol

This makes me want to get out my glitter and start crafting. I just love how sparkly and pretty this is. The trim is darling and your diecut all blinged out is superb. What a great card to honor the Queen!

Wow such a beautiful sparkly stain glass. The lattice behind is perfect for it. That ribbon is very pretty - I like the mini tag hanging from it. Fun bling.

Another lovely sparkly card! I love all the cool elements you added to that wonderful main attraction. I am thinking I need a bath mat like yours for my pics - do you think I could explain on my blog why there is always a bath mat on my kitchen counter? I really want to learn this stainglass technique - if I get time today, I am going to try.... you might want to stay tuned. Hugz.
