I was just thinking that I wanted to use my owl punch to make a cat, when I started seeing this lion on split-coast. Here is my take on it! The lion's tail is cut by hand using the paper left over from around the x-large oval punch to get the larger part of the curve. His back paws are made by cutting a small oval long-ways, a little narrower than half.
The lamb was made using the scalloped oval punch twice, to get a shorter body for the lamb. The head I just cut out of a 3/4" circle, and the curls in the lamb's coat are drawn on with a marker, as are his little hooves, the lamb's and the lion's faces, and the lion's legs and toes.
