CAS163 Monday, March 26, 2012 - Inspiration Challenge Family Circle Cover
This was not a “piece of cake” for me. In viewing the inspiration photo I only wanted to eat cupcakes.
The colors and soft shape steered me to eggs. Maybe cupcakes shaped like eggs?
With CAS challenges I think of beds. Our guest bedroom has a toile bed spread, shams and lots of decorative pillows. Our bed has plain white sheets and neutral bedcovers with only the pillows needed for sleep. Both beds are inviting but one is simplified.
I stamped Verve’s four patterned eggs with memento Rich Cocoa ink onto card stock the colors in the inspiration photo, and cut out and highlighted with copic markers.
I die cut Spellbinders classic oval out of the main card and a scalloped oval out of another piece of card stock and adhered to the layer with the Verve sentiment.
Forgive me for not being available to comment on cards until I return from traveling.
Thank you for viewing!
