My January cards were green & white; February's were red & white; and here's March in green & red & white.
I'm still very much a beginner with heat embossing. I was playing with embossing powder to see if I could combine VersaMark with a colored ink and clear ep. I grabbed the closest stamp, which happened to be this holly, and used gray ink. It turned out nice although I probably could have gotten close to the same effect with silver ep. I colored in the blank spots with Copics, then had to build this set of cards up from there. The sentiment is green ep although I couldn't get the shine to show up well in the photo.
I drew the lines with an ordinary red ballpoint pen. The two top panels are attached with 3D Zots. This looks like a simple card, and the elements are simple (except for heat embossing), but it took a long time to plan, prepare and assemble all the pieces for 8 cards.
