Grunge Butterfly Birthday Card

Poster: angelladcrockett

 Happy Monday! I'm so excited that I had time to play in a couple of challenges before work...yay!!! Today's Technique Lover's Challenge is to 'Crop It'....instead of cutting my image, I stamped it while the cardstock was still in the Spellbinder die, so only the center of the stamp shows. This week's Featured Stamper is the fabulously talented pinkberry...congrats, Diane!! I chose this gorgeous card to re-create. Also, the Inspiration Challenge was to choose an item from 'Johnny Tapete'....I loved all of the vintage wallpaper there, but chose this beautiful paper which looked like fabric.....it reminded me of this paper from Glitz....yummy! Also, the Stampin Sisters in Christ challenge is to incorporate something from this new season....flowers and butterflies!!
Card 'Ingredients':
Stamps: God's Love, 2-Step Butterflies;
Cardstock: Stampin Up Coral Calypso and Very Vanilla;
Designer paper: Glitz 'French Kiss';
Ink: Stazon Jet Black, Stampin Up Coral Calypso, Crumb Cake, and Early Espresso (sponging);
Accessories: ODBD 'Grunge Butterfly Die', Spellbinders Romantic Rectangles, Crocheted Lace, Zva Creative Pearls, Spica Glitter Pen (butterfly), Stamp-a-ma-jig Stamp Positioner, 'Pearl' Glimmer Mist, CM Corner Rounder, Paper Piercer and template;
Size: A2.
Thanks so much for looking! Have a very blessed day!

It is a beauty, Angela. Keeping the die on the paper to stamp is a great idea and was the perfect technique for this. Thanks for the inspiration.

you know this is gorgeous, and the title gave me a giggle because this does not fit my thought's of "grunge" lol... :)
It's way too pretty for that.
