I recently came across a recipe for French Fries and it is the best ever! They are crispy brown on the outside and tender on the inside. So today I was inspired not only by this card of the new Queens, mepylant BUT by those tasty fries I made.....my card...BUT first Congrats Melina. You are so deserving of being the new Queen. You leave such wonderful comments. Was fun browsing you fab-O gallery!.....NOW my card....
I used Melina's layout, changed the flowers into French Fries and the colors into a golden monochromatic one for the F4A today. As I type this I see that I mistook her "W" for staples. I must be blind as a bat, I tell you! hehe
I drew the fries, gingaham table cloth and the salt shaker after all, a light dusting of salt just makes these fries all the more better. These were so good, I am making a batch for dinner tonight! hehe
Coloring was done with w/c pencils and sponging on the edges with butterscotch.
Was a really rainy day AGAIN. Quick story, went to one pool and was greeted by a duck standing on a wall acting all protective. As I looked around I saw that she had laid an egg right next to the pool's deep end. Crazy duck! The male duck was there too only he just kept swimming and pooping in the pool. Made for an interesting day. hehe
Hope your day is going well!....TFL :0)

Nice!!! Don't those ducks know they should be in a lake?!! They must be all spoiled out there, swimming in clean pools. I do like your stories as well as your art work. I think you would be a blast to hang out with. I like your monochromatic , yellow. It's a nice, bright and happy card - pretty much like all you do. :>)

I tell ya, I can smell the aroma of those freshly cooked fries!!! I'm dieting, so I can't have those things! :( That's OK, I can have lots of other good things. Your drawing is fabulous, and that card is awesome!! I don't suppose they're letting people in that pool that the duck pooped in, are they? LOL! There's a park in Reno where there's a big pond with a little island in the middle and a fountain near that. There's lots of ducks and geese there all year round. My oldest son calls it "Duck Poop Pond."

Before I even opened up the big photo, I knew that is had to a Mutnik original! Yup, and my favorite food group too!! Only you forgot the catsup, but I guess for this one it would have to be mustard, so good thing you didn't put it in there! I love your monochromatic tablecloth and fries, yummy and sunny to boot!!
