Thursday is CCEE Stampers, and this week Joanne challenged us to go international with either our images, languages or embellishments. It occurs to me only now that I could have done a St. Patrick's Day card with the greeting in Irish - instead I went to Paris because I love it so much.
This is an A2 card using Rubber Stamp Avenue's Eiffel Tower. Penny Black Ooh La La, and SU's Carte Postale for the Bonjour.
I stamped Pierre with Versafine Black on watercolour paper, masked him and stamped the tower with Memories Soft Grey. Coloured the image with distress inks, adding Glossy Accents to the wine glass, and sponged the background.
Sentiment was cut with Spellbinders Labels 1 and sponged.
Background was created using Joan's recent TLC of Make Your Own Stripes - I was thinking of the French flag but it looks a bit like an airmail envelope!!
If you'd like to share your international flair with us, be sure to link your card on the blog, or use the CCEE1211 keyword here on SCS .

Great choice, Sabrina. Love your little visitor to Paris...really cute. I never thought of doing an Irish card, either. Wish I had so I could have given it to my hubby. Your stripes look super.
