This was inspired by a painting I saw today. I love these colors. Hope you do too. The black squares is a grid stamp from a Virginia Beach company called Stamp It! I stamped that on banana paper then masked around the outside and in between the squares with very thin masking tape by the same company. I sponged color into each square. I stamped the leaves with Garden Green, then the blossoms with VersaMark and embossed with white EP. I don't know if you can tell from the scan, but I hand shadowed each blossom and leaf with a grey reinker and a blender pen.

OK, I am baffled at how you got the colored squares with the black layered absolutely perfectly on the banana!! Are they square punches? Did you stamp the leaves first and then white embossed over it so that it doesn't show through?????? Holy Cow, you are good! I'll be up all night wondering how you did this....can you spare me the pain and tell me your secrets? :)
