This fan caught my eye. I started out making something RED and black, and as usual, the card took over!
This site is wonderful, and so appropriate for me. I have been having HOT FLASHES for 17 years....the Dr. says my thermostat is broken. I have them every 40 minutes, night and day, 7 days a week, year after year. I carry fans everywhere I go. My friends all carry them for me. None of them even notice any more (I wish I didn't!) when I remove layers of clothing, turn pink and fan away!! This site is HEAVEN to me!!
Anyway, this card took on a life of its own.
My grandson's Bar Mitzvah ws this morning and afternoon, and he was FABULOUS!! It was so exciting, touching, wonderful!! I came home to craft and settle down from all the excitement! Whew!

What a special day for you and your family, Anne...I'm sure there's an appropriate phrase to say for this occasion, rather than congratulations, but I don't know what it is! No wonder you love your fans, Anne, just can't imagine living with a broken thermostat all those years!! This is a beautiful red, black and white creation, I love the way you've placed the postage stamp image and flourish in the circle!

TMI! hehe Just kidding Anne! I feel your pain.....now about this card. First off I wish stamps were still 37 cents! Do they even have a cent sign on these keyboards anymore? Can't find mine! ...anyway, your card is beyond gorgeous! Love the colors and layout. Hope your thermostat starts working properly REAL SOON! Love your card. TFS :0)

Your black and red is gorgeous, Anne, and I really like the layout with the several layered circles.
17 years - yikes, I do not envy you that, you must have worn out a fair few fans in that time.

This is simply gorgeous! I love the colour and the inspiration you chose...didn't surprise me! LOL I sympathize with your power surges..and I wish your sympathetic Dr???? could get his thermostat broken too! Maybe he wouldn't be so flip!!
