My friend Jan and I were trying to justify purchasing the Easter Blossoms set even though we don't make many Easter cards a year. We tried to think of ways of using the set for cards other than Easter cards. Jan's idea was to cover up the Easter eggs in the little girl's basket. My idea was to use the Easter egg as a petal and make a flower.
I inked the egg in Regal Rose ink, rock 'n' rolled in Rose Red ink and stamped and cut out 6 eggs. I punched a circle and after giving the petals a bit of shaping I glued them to the circle. I put a gorgeous Antique brad in the centre of my bloom and placed it on top of the stem from the Sweetheart set.
The Pink Pirouette card base measures 5 3/4" square. I cut a tad off at the side and added a decorative punched border.
