When I read the theme for this GDT-call, I instantly knew what to make: a book-card-thing for my sister, who is about to graduate in June this year.
I used the Oxford papers from BG, I figured that would certainly match the theme "Hit the books" (which means "studying"... to be sure I looked this up in a online dictionary since my English isn't that good...hahaha!).
The cute studying girl matched the theme perfectly, and since my sister is a "cat-person" I really HAD to use the supercute PI-girl too.
A label and the 4 little corners were made by Ellen (THANX!!!) with her Cricut. I know, it's a little bit of cheating haha! The text on the label comes from the set "heartfelt sentiments" of Unity Stamp.
I paperpieced the books of both studying girls (see front and tag). The rest was couloured with DistressInks.
I 've allready wrapped a little present for my sister. It's allready in the book at the right side.
I really had fun making this project! Would absolutely LOVE to join the MFT design-team for a month...
