Let me just go ahead and apologize if anyone is offended by the political statement on my card. I have met some Congressmen and they all seemed very nice; however, as a whole, I am unimpressed recently. I am a huge Mark Twain fan, and I just ran across this quote and had to use it somehow. I thought these Dilly Bean dunce cap skeletons would be perfect paired with the quote. This week's Dilly Bean challenge is to use green and black on your card. I love the colors together! Here is the link if you are interested in playing
To make my card, I used a lovely card designed by StampingQueenJar who is the 102nd Queen for the Day/Week. Judy makes the most amazing cards. Her work is so detailed and so pretty - she adds some gorgeous touches to everything she makes. Judy, I tried to capture the same attention to detail in my card and I kept her basic sketch (a fun one) - I really didn't change much..ha..ha...ha.. Here is Judy's lovely creation I cased:
PT - zero unless Pamzi lets me count the one little punch I made with my Crop-a-dile to tie a ribbon in the corner (you can't see it because I covered it up when the feather jumped on my card - does that ever happen to anyone else?)
This one is going to my Mom - she and I have the best political discussions.

Would love to see you & mom having coffee over this one. Nancy, your work is stunning! Skeery, but stunning. Love that your sense of humor and card style mingle so much! LYMIMIMIMI

What a perfect card for your mom given you talk politics together. Hmmm...I'm sure a lot of people agree with the sentiment. The image is HYSTERICAL and, it goes against my better judgment, but you can count the one little teeny tiny cropodile punch that is not visible to the eye b/c I so love feathers! You may have to have this approved by the other co-founders, Diz, but you know she's out and about traveling the world losing weight, so I guess I'm making an executive decision to approve this. However, no weight loss to be counted on this one. Hugs Sis!
