 | | This card is for S2S12I, where we were encouraged to make a birthday card celebrating Henry Wadsworth Longfellow, and also to use sketch #227. I looked up some of H.W.L.'s poetry and found a lot of it to be rather dark around the edges, but did find this one which celebrates spring. I wanted to use the whole poem, so this card ended up being 6 1/2 by 5 inches. It will be for my sister-in-law's birthday in April. She was born in the Netherlands. |
