This week's Ways to Use It challenge is "Denim Anniversary". I have no pieces of real denim, no stamps with blue jeans on them, no denim dp. I opened my closet and stared at my jeans and got the idea of paying homage to the many many shades of denim - I have four pairs of jeans that go from the darkest indigo to totally faded.
So I used a dark blue for my cardbase, then did a colour wash with Twinkling H2Os to represent faded denim, and then stamped my image with an in-between blue.
Since I'm also making cards for the Christmas Card Challenge, I used a snowflake wreath as my image and heat embossed it with a sparkly embossing powder.

Of course you should have more than one shade of jeans! You depicted it beautifully here! Thanks for bringing your snowflakes to the WTUI party!
