I love denim. I am all about that comfort. When I saw the challenge, my mind went straight to this image of the little cowgirl by Mark's Finest Papers called Cowgirls Rule. I used my night of navy ink pad to swipe a piece of cardstock. It was uneven, but that makes it look more like denim I think. I then stamped the cowgirl and her horse image on the "denim" I then stamped it again on white cardstock. I watercolored the horse and used prisma colored pencils to color the girl. I made the faux bandana background. I keep forgetting how fun this that technique is. I then used yesterday's sketch because I had such a crazy day yesterday I couldn't play along.

Your background does look like denim.. Perfect image for this demin challenge. I really like your faux bandana. I didn't know you could do this. Thanks for sharing you artistic talent. tfs

Oh I so agree with you MariLynn on the cowgirl theme with the denim. This is super sweet. Love the faux bandana bg. Your twine around is perfect with those star brads. WOW card! TFS :0)
